Summary of Incident:

The server "Rover" experienced a hardware failure during the daytime hours of Sunday Novemeber 13 2011. The failure was identified quickly and the hardware was replaced within 38 minutes. Once the new hardware was in place we began the process of restoring data from backups. This process took a substantial amount of time due to the vast amount of data being transfered and rebuilt, resulting in a extended inturruption in service. 

 

Moving Forward:

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. For all of our customers who were impacted: please open a ticket with the Billing department, we will be issuing a statement credit as per our Service Level Agreement (SLA) for the inturruption of service.

In the coming days we will begin to heavily invest in our infrastructure to build out redundencies and improve overall availability, scalability, and data integerity. We would like to thank all of our customers for continuing to allow us to serve your hosting needs and look forward to providing you with more reliable, higher performing solutions in the future.
